What’ll be going down at CNSP

Whether you love music, circus, crafts, workshops, games, sport or just soaking up the atmosphere there is plenty to get stuck into at CNSP!  Check the info below for more details on what’s in store.

The Croissant Neuf Big Top

Croissant Neuf’s Big Top Solar Venue is the heart and soul of the Summer Party. It’s Europe’s biggest solar powered venue and has been the main Glastonbury “Greenfield” and Big Green Gathering venue for more years than we care to remember. For more information on who will be playing take a look at the line up

Croissant Deux

Our second stage is still solar powered, still beautifully decorated – just on a smaller scale than the Big Top.  Traditional raked circus-seating lets you (and sleepy-legged little ones) enjoy your favourite bands in comfort.  Have a look at who will be playing here.

The Stagger Inn

CNSP’s on-site pub is a home from home, based in the barn and boasting a selection of local tipples. By day a cosy, welcoming space perfect for relaxing with a pint, listening to an impromptu jam session or playing a game of skittles or darts. At night, transformed by state of the art, atmospheric LED lighting into the perfect meeting place with enough merriment and entertainment to see night through.

On Friday night we have CNSP’s famous and possibly the only pub quiz on the festival circuit, with amazing kitsch prizes, and great respect to the winners.

Children and Families

Croissant Neuf Summer Party is perfect to bring the little ones too. There is loads on offer to keep all ages entertained and the layout of the site means you can relax knowing you can keep an eye on them having fun.  If it’s the first time you’ve brought your family to a festival (or maybe it’s your first festival too!) why not check out our guide of hints and tips and our ideas for all the essentials you might need to bring.

Big Top Mania provide a kid zone with shows specially for children, a great collection of games, toys and circus equipment for children of all ages to try out and a dedicated area for toddlers.

Our Sports Academy, run by a team of qualified coaches (who are also sports nuts!) will once again feature games every day – including football, cricket rounders and the wonderfully silly CNSP Olympics.  It all culminates in a five-a-side football tournament on Sunday afternoon.  We also organise a Treasure Hunt for children of all ages, even grandparents.

There’s a great selection of workshops for grown-ups and kids, highlights include Lantern Making – with the chance to join in the lantern parade on Sunday evening.  There’s also plenty of spoken word and poetry, dance classes, open mic, .

Around and About

The Healing Area

A secluded glade where serious relaxation is the order of the day. Therapies such as Shiatsu, Reiki, massage and reflexology are available.

The Hillfort

The Iron Age hill fort, planted with mature specimens of every native English hardwood tree and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside is almost worth the admission price on its own.

The Campfire

The central, communal campfire has become the night-time hub of the festival. Surrounded by hand carved benches, this is the place for late night sing-a-longs, sitting down with a stone-baked pizza in the afternoon, a morning coffee or just generally soaking up the atmosphere

The Market

With plenty of shops and stalls for the shopper with a conscience to peruse, you’ll find fine fair trade goods available from all over the world.

For those with crafty tendencies and those who just want to try something new there is plenty to turn your hand to- from wood carving to willow weaving or sticky label hat making.
