Croissant Neuf Summer Party is very proud of being the greenest event in the UK
Croissant Neuf have always championed renewable energy and sustainability. Our life styles and our events reflect our beliefs that it’s easy to live a low impact life style and still have the maximum amount of fun! All of the electricity on site is generated by solar panels and wind generators, from the massive sound system and stage lights of the main stage to the toilet lighting and lights above each gate and fire point. Everything that possibly can be, is recycled. All the food and drink on site is organic, as local as possible and fairly traded where appropriate. We will have experts on site giving talks and running displays on renewable energy and sustainability and the U.Ks largest supplier of solar panels will be on site.
Last year Croissant Neuf Summer Party was CARBON NEUTRAL. You can download a full Environmental Audit for CNSP 2011 here

CNSP Facts and Figures
- Since it’s inception Croissant Neuf Summer Party have planted over 4000 native British tree saplings on and around the event site, due to our 3 trees per car scheme
- Due to the tree planting the last two events have been Carbon Neutral (see downloadable EIA)
- In 2012 we managed to run the entire event off only 11Kw of Solar
- The main stage LED lighting system uses less power than an average hair dryer
- 95% of all waste generated at the event in 2012 was subsequentially recycled
- We have never used any generators (other than solar or wind) at the festival
- All the food and drink on site is organic where possible, locally sourced and fairly traded
- We actively encourage people to come to the festival by more environmentally sound modes of transport i.e trains, buses, car sharing and cycling
We at CNSP believe in working towards a more sustainable future and we adhere to a strict code of practice when it comes to hosting our event. Every year we strive to better the last and make the festival more environmentally sound. So far we’ve managed to increase our overall green credentials despite larger crowds and thus more possible problems with remaining a low impact event.
