Site Info
Animals – Unfortunately we cannot accept any animals on site, be it dogs, cats, pandas, llamas, walruses or any other type of mammal! Any that are found will be removed along with their owners.
Barrow Boys & Girls – When you arrive on site you will be greeted by a team of friendly helpers who are there to assist you in transporting your camping kit from the car park to the camping areas. We also supply wheelbarrows and trolleys to make moving equipment easier.
Campervans and Caravans – There is a small charge for live-in vehicles and caravans at the Croissant Neuf Summer Party, see Tickets for more details.
The designated camper van area is of a limited size so if you are planning on bringing anything over 6 metres long please contact us before purchasing your ticket by emailing info.cnsp@gmail.com. Also please inform us in advance if you wish to camp with other members of your party that are in tents. Our campsite staff will make every effort to maximise your camping comfort and to offset the carbon footprint we will plant 3 trees for every vehicle that arrives at CNSP.
Camping – The main camping field is a short walk from the car park. There are water provisions in each campsite as well as fire points and recycling facilities. There are toilets next to each camping area. Camping at CNSP is free unless you are in a campervan or caravan, which are subject to charges. No matter where you camp on our site you are only a maximum of a 5 minute walk from the events field. All the camping areas onsite have a stunning view out over the Usk Valley, there is no better sight to wake up to!
CNSP Team – All members of the festival team will happily help you with any query. Don’t be afraid to ask!
Disability Policy – We try to keep CNSP open to all. Please get in contact if you’d like more information about our Disability Policy. If you require more information please view our F.A.Q’s.
Disabled Access – Most of the site is wheelchair friendly (although please do bear in mind that it is in a field which may be rough and/or boggy). We do endeavour to ensure that the CNSP is accessible to everyone. The main venues have a specific area for wheelchair users and all the other venues are easily accessed. Disabled toilets will be provided.
Fires – We ask that people do not light fires in the camping areas out of respect of for the land and for health and safety reasons. There is fully stewarded communal campfire in the main field every evening which is so impressive it’s still smouldering come morning!
First Aid – The fully qualified Emergency Response Team are onsite for the duration of the festival along with a fully staffed ambulance, so you do not need to bring everything from the medicine cabinet. Our bands are not super loud, but you may want to bring ear plugs, especially for children who tend to gravitate to the front, near the speakers.
Food – Croissant Neuf strive to keep all food onsite 100% organic and locally sourced, where possible. Our onsite caterers serve high quality food at reasonable prices throughout the event. The bars have a range of beers, cider, wines and spirits along with a full complement of traditional pub snacks. There is something for everyone from snack food to full sit down meals. We cater for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and lactose free. More details on the onsite catering concessions can be found here(link)
Glass – Glass on site is not permitted. Please bring cans or plastic bottles instead. Remember the site is home to livestock and we would not want any of them to end up being hurt after the event has finished. Remember to recycle!
Kids – Our kid’s area team makes sure there is plenty to keep the young ones occupied. See what they can get up to in our What’s On section. For the older kids we have plenty of workshops, music and sports activities. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by someone aged 18+.
Rubbish & Recycling – Recycling facilities and bins are located at various points around the site – please use them. Remember it’s home to livestock when we are not there, (who are very vulnerable to even small objects left in the grass) so please put all waste, including cigarette butts and ring pulls etc in the bins provided. You can read all about CNSP’s award-winning green ethics here
Showers – There are lovely hot showers available (for a small charge) with free high quality biodegradable soap and shampoo.
Site -The event is situated in a beautiful rural setting near Usk, Monmouthshire. For nine months of the year it is home to lots of sheep and cattle. It also incorporates a national heritage site, so please be respectful and stay within the designated event areas.
Toilets - Quite possibly the most sparkling loos you’ll find at a festival! All toilets on site are fully serviced daily to ensure you have a pleasant experience whilst upon the throne. Regular checks are made to make sure each cubicle is stocked with hand cleaner and fresh toilet paper.

What to Bring:
Festival’s can seem a little daunting if you haven’t been to one before or it’s the first time you’ve brought your family. We’ve lived through all the ‘forgetting the wet wipes’ situations for you and from such joyous experiences have compiled a list of hints, tips and all the essentials you should bring!
Loos
We try really hard to keep the loos clean and stocked with loo roll. This year we will also try to have a few spares nearby so anyone can stock the loo. We rely heavily on a faithful band of lovely volunteers who wear name badges so you can pick them out, and any of them will cheerfully stock up and clean a loo if it is not good enough. We endeavour to ensure that all of the toilets are constantly stocked with loo roll but it is always best to bring you own just in case.
Camping equipment
There is no camping shop nearby and we have no one on site sells it, so you will need to bring tent, tent pegs, sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Towels are also useful, particularly when wet, plus a torch per person, and spare batteries. A small camping stove and a kettle is useful for hot drinks at odd times. Not all luxury options include bedding, so check with them before you arrive.
Food
There are cafes on site but children often wake up before they open so it is useful to have some basic breakfast food with you, and the means to make a cup of tea or coffee. A full meal from one of the cafes costs around £5-7, and most offer cheaper snacks and cakes, so you may decide to cook some meals and use the cafes for others. All use locally sourced food where practical, free range eggs, and fresh ingredients. The bar stocks most drinks, but you will probably need a water container.
Clothes and Dressing Up
Please bring wellies and waterproofs. If you do, it will not rain. Likewise warm clothes will guarantee sun. Rain or shine, it does get cold after dark so warm clothes are essential. It is also a festival, so feel free to dress up as much as you want. It does not matter if you dress like a dragon or a bear. Sunday will be pyjama day, so you need not get dressed at all, well, other than your bed clothes! In the evenings some of the crew and volunteers often wear something glitzy, so if you like to dress for dinner, you can feel at home here. But some of us do not dress up at all for anything, so that is fine too
